Wildly Tamed is a curly hair salon located inside the Metropolis in Downtown Los Angeles.
Wildly Tamed Salon, created by Shontia Delpin, a licensed hair stylist for over 13 years, was founded in 2016. As a curly hair woman, she has first-hand knowledge of the struggles to find a hair stylist who can care for your curls.
After moving from Seattle to Los Angeles to pursue her career as a professional hair stylist, she struggled to find a salon that catered to helping her maintain her own curly hair. Eventually, through trial and error, she learned that even some of the best hair salons had no clue how to service clients who wanted to wear their naturally textured hair. As a result, she began to offer dry cutting, maintenance treatments and protective styling to other people who were in the industry that were struggling with the same issues.
Fast forward from the pandemic till now, curly hair and natural hair has become a fast growing section of the beauty industry. All hair types from wavy to coily are at the forefront of branding and marketing. But for Wildly Tamed Salon that has always been the mission. Wildly Tamed is a solution for those who love their natural hair and want it to flourish.
Shontia has an organic approach to hair care and maintenance. She believes that the basis for beautiful hair is healthy hair. She has developed a system that has garnered her a reputation among the curly hair community as the go-to stylist to achieve your #HAIRGOALS.
